From the IPS to an online Education Start-up

A former Kerala cadre IPS officer Mr. Rajan Singh, is all set to launch an innovative online education start-up called the ConceptOwl (IITJEE Joint Venture with Bansal Classes),to train students for the all-India competitive exams.   
 
After obtaining his BTech degree from IIT Kanpur, Rajan Singh who hails from Uttar Pradesh, joined the Indian Police Service. In just six months in the field, the 1997 batch IPS office was appointed as the Police Commissioner in Thiruvananthapuram, the youngest officer in the post. He quit the services in 2005 to study in the US where he did an MBA at the Wharton School of Business, and worked as a consultant with global management firm Mckinsey & Company and also worked as a Vice President of New Silk Route Private Equity.After which he returned to Thiruvananthapuram to start a learning system which aims at harnessing technology to make learning easier and faster, and is focused on individual abilities, in the traditional classroom set-up called CourseBrew. 
 
The latest start-up - ConceptOwl started in 2015 has already received the backing of several established entrance coaching centres. According to his Linked in profile he aims to:
  • Transform science education in India. 
  • Taking the famed 'Bansal Classes Kota' to tier 2/3 cities through 100+ tech-driven coaching centers. 
  • Redefine test preparations, so it fires up student's imagination and curiosity.
