7 Indian startups selected for the 3rd Google Launchpad Accelerator Program

The 3rd 'Launchpad Accelerator' Program launched by Google last month (read http://startup2day.in/story-fullview/google-invites-start-ups-for-its-3rd-launchpad-accelerator-program)  has  announced the third batch of Indian start-ups that will join the Launchpad Accelerator programme at the Google Headquarters. The seven Indian startups selected to be a part of the programme include:
 
  1. Flyrobe- This is an online fashion store where  you can  rent clothes for special occasions & which offers a variety of international and local brands to choose from.
  2. HashLearn- A Bangalore based start-up founded by Gopalakrishnan and Gokul Janga, which  offers a mobile tutoring app for school kids ,where you can find a tutor in 90 seconds for a very nominal price  and it also provides counselling for students and instant, 24x7 doubt-clearing by tutors from IITs & AIIMS.
  3. Rentomojo- Run by a Bangalore-based Edunetwork Pvt. Ltd , it  offers  furniture, household appliances, adventure sports equipment and bike rentals  through its online platform.
  4. KaptureCRM- Is a cloud based, user-friendly Customer Relationship Management software customizable for diverse needs of Real Estate, Banks, Hotels and FMCG etc. to easily automate business processes. 
  5. Curofy- Started by 3 IITians, Curofy is a medical app that allows doctors to discuss medical cases with peers from across the country. It also lets them read the latest medical news, discuss difficult cases, apply for premium jobs and highlight their achievements. Curofy’s online medical directory pre populates profiles of doctors based on the public data.
  6. Happy Adda Studios-  A platform  aimed to create content for the Indian Audience and make them play games with localized regional based content in their own language .They target Indian Audience across the world with engaging gameplay with their fun mobile games.
  7. Playment- This is a Bengaluru-based start-up by two IItians  that enables large companies to crowdsource completion of tasks that are typically done by in-house or outsourced teams (BPOs.
 
The selected startups will become a part of the 6-month mentorship programme  which will include a $50K in equity-free funding, a two-week all-expenses paid boot camp at Google Headquarters, six months of ongoing mentorship and access to Google’s full suite of Launchpad initiatives and connections and product credits. The  programme starts from January 30th , 2017 at Launchpad Space in San Francisco, USA .
