As part of the many initiatives that the Telangana Minister for IT and Industries- K. T Rama Rao has planned for start-ups, he has recently launched T-Bridge, which is a T Hub outpost at the Silicon Valley at San Francisco. This was launched as part of his US tour which he is currently undertaking to boost investment & trade .

What is  T-Bridge:
A  programme aimed at connecting Indian start-ups with  global opportunities in the Silicon Valley. This is in partnership with Uber and TiE Silicon Valley.

Vision:
To make Hyderabad one of the top 10 start-up cities in the world and T–Bridge is one such initiative towards getting investment from across the world to the State of Telangana.
To forge new partnerships, encourage investments and innovation between the two countries.

What is it for Start-ups:
T-Bridge would enable start-up communities in India and around the world to exchange ideas, innovate and create new ways for knowledge transfer etc.

To also create a network of mentors, venture capitalists, incubators and accelerators which would benefit the Indian start-up ecosystem.

To provide a platform for fast-track tech companies looking to access India’s huge consumer market for technology & innovation.

T-Bridge would also help start-ups access UberEXCHANGE, Uber’s flagship start-up mentorship programme, and TiE Silicon Valley’s mentor network.
